I found this article in RedState.com concerning Barack Hussein Obama's thoughts on the murdering slime balls who were responsible for the attacks on 9/11. He was a State Senator at the time and his statements were made in the Hyde Park Herald.Apparently, then-State Senator Barack Hussein Obama felt it necesary to make excuses for the murderers. He empathizes with them...
Red State.com article: Obama and the 911 Murderers
Excerpt:
On September 19, 2001, a story ran in the Hyde Park Herald containing then-State-Senator Barack Obama’s response to the 9/11 tragedy. In this piece (quoted in this article from the New Yorker, under the heading “The Speech”), Obama expresses empathy for the murderers! Not anger, not disdain, not a word of sympathy for the victims. His concern was for the murderers
From Obama’s article:
"We must also engage, however, in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness. The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part of the attackers: an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity and suffering of others. Such a failure of empathy, such numbness to the pain of a child or the desperation of a parent, is not innate; nor, history tells us, is it unique to a particular culture, religion, or ethnicity. It may find expression in a particular brand of violence, and may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics. Most often, though, it grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair."

I was reading the "May We Never Forget" post, went to comment, and the post disappeared. It was a lovely post. Very moving.

ReplyDeleteSorry about that. It must have been when I realized I had made a mistake and decided to edit it. Hope you'll go back and read it.
Thanks for the kind words. See you soon.
TCL, I cannot stand reading that relativist cr*p that Barry states concerning 9/11. His empathy for the enemy legitimizes their insanity. My take:

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sending the link to your article on HotAir. You are so right. Now it's a "National Day of Service & Memorial" (or something like that). Obama just wants to wipe the whole thing out and make us all community organizers. Thanks for stopping by and congrats on being published on HotAir.
