Ted Kennedy Dead At 77

I am posting this news as it is going to be the BIG story of the next couple of weeks and I can't ignore it.

The Left will be devastated, Prez BO will cut his vacation short, fly home to sign the health care bill which will be pushed through Congress with the name "Ted Kennedy Memorial Health Care Bill" as a tribute to the great Senator from Massachusetts and we will be bombarded with TV coverage out the waazoo until we can't take it anymore and our heads explode. Only kidding (I hope).

Anyway, we all knew the day was quickly approaching.

I will not speak ill of Senator Kennedy on the day of his death. I will not praise him either.

Right now, all I can think of is Mary Jo Kopechne.

By Scott Malone, Reuters
BOSTON — U.S. Senator Edward Kennedy, a towering figure in the Democratic Party who took the helm of one of America's most fabled political families after two older brothers were assassinated, has died, his family said. He was 77.

  1. We all know his death will be used as a reason for passing healthcare reform. However as an aging American with cancer, he would have died a long time before he did under ObamaCare. That is another example of why the legislature and executive branches of government exempted themselves from the same level of care they would vote for all of us.

    Sorry, no RIP from me.

  2. When Sen. Kennedy wasn't able to attend his sister's funeral, I knew the end was near. As for how people react to the Senator's passing, I don't think it boils down to political beliefs. While watching "Morning Joe", Joe Scarborough seemed to be moved by the news that Sen. Kennedy had died. I think that others on the right feel the same way.

I like how you said that you wouldn't speak ill of Sen. Kennedy and then made a reference to the "Chappaquiddick incident". You sly devil you, lol.

True. The House & Senate will never to under the same health care system they want to foist on the American people. Sen. Kennedy had wonderful health care, and that is great and I would not begrudge him that at all. The American people should also be able to have the health care of their choice, and it should not be dictated by the federal government. It's all about power and control...the people be damned.

    Hi Malcolm:
You are correct. No one wants to see a person suffer and die from cancer...not even right wing extremists like me. I agree, politics has nothing to do with the sadness of a person death.
