White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said closing the detention center at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, was a "hasty decision", in his daily press briefing with reporters.

Talk about the undertatement of the century! Truth be told, closing Gitmo had more to do with making Bush look bad, than actually being good policy. What I find scary is that Obama and his advisors didn't seem to realize this!
ReplyDeleteJust trying to pacify his most leftist supporters and make the Europeans like him better. Unfortunately, that doesn't say much for him, especially with our national security at stake.
