"The Goode Family" May Be Good

There's a new TV show on ABC called, The Goode Family. It premiered on Wednesday, May 27, but I didn't get a chance to see it because we were on the road until very late that evening.

It's a spoof about a politically correct, environmentalist family. Here's a excerpt from the above article:

Director Mike Judge’s new animated television series “The Goode Family” is a send-up of a clan of environmentalists who live by the words “What would Al Gore do?” Gerald and Helen Goode want nothing more than to minimize their carbon footprint. They feed their dog, Che, only veggies (much to the pet’s dismay) and Mr. Goode dutifully separates sheets of toilet paper when his wife accidentally buys two-ply. And, of course, the family drives a hybrid.

How a show like this actually got produced, let alone on ABC, is amazing. It comes from the same guy who developed King of the Hill and Beavis and Butt-Head. I never watched either of these shows, but I think I'll check The Goode Family out next week. It looks like it may be a funny show...it sure has a lot of "good" material to work with.

If anyone saw the show on Wednesday, give us a little review in the Comment section.
