Tea Bags & Fairy Tales

Here is a picture of Alice and her friends at a "Tea Party" in Wonderland. Check the links on the previous post as to where the "Tax Day Tea Parties" are going to be held in your area on April 15. We are planning to attend one in our area.

Another way to protest is by joining the movement to mail a tea bag directly to The White House on April 1 so that it arrives by April 15. The address is:
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington, DC 20500

Today's "Morning Bell" is entitled: "Geithner in Wonderland". It tells how Sen. Judd Gregg (R-NH) (he was Obama's nominee for Commerce Secretary, but Sen. Gregg declined) questioned Treasury Secretary Timothy "Turbo Tax" Geithner at the Senate Budget hearing yesterday.

After Geithner told the panel that Obama's budget would cut taxes for 95% of Americans, Gregg replied: "The argument that this budget doesn't have tax increases is, I think, an "Alice in Wonderland" view of the budget".

He's right...it IS a fairy tale.

There's also an excert from the Washington Times describing the budget.
