Obama Turned Netanyahu Away - UPDATE: White House Says Blockade Unsustainable

Makes sense.  Obama will stand with Paul McCartney at the White House while Paul slams President Bush and not say a word about it (probably laughed along with the rest of the crowd), but refuses to stand with our ally, Israel, while it's President tells his side of the Gaza Flotilla story.  Absolutely makes sense.

Actions like this make Israel's enemies even bolder. They see America not standing by Israel and this justifies their actions and precipitates more strikes against them.

Israel, you're on your own.

Gateway Pundit reports:

Barack Obama sent Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu back to Israeli to tell his side of the Gaza Flotilla story. He didn’t want Israel to use the White House as a backdrop and refused to stand with Israel after the ambush on the Mavi Marmara.

Netanyahu announced immediately after the flotilla news broke that he would remain in North America and would meet with Obama as scheduled. However, within minutes after media reported Netanyahu would continue with his trip as scheduled, he abruptly announced a change of plan and set off immediately for Israel to “deal with the flotilla crisis.”
Behind the scenes, it was Obama officials who caused the turnabout. Globes cites sources in both Jerusalem and Washington who say that Obama officials gave a clear message to Netanyahu’s people: “Don’t come.”

UPDATE: Gateway Pundit now reports:

OBAMA WHITE HOUSE SIDES WITH HAMAS!

The Obama White House is now siding with Hamas over Israel. Despite the documented ambush on the Israeli soldiers this week by radical Islamists in the Mediterranean, the White House is pressuring Israel to end its blockade of Gaza essentially undermining Israel’s last wall of defense against the Islamic killers of Hamas.

Reuters reported:
(Reuters) - The White House said on Friday Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip was unsustainable and urged a Gaza aid vessel sent by pro-Palestinian activists to divert to an Israeli port to reduce the risk of violence.

Gateway Pundit went on:

As Charles Krauthammer wrote this week:
Without forward or active defense, Israel is left with but the most passive and benign of all defenses — a blockade to simply prevent enemy rearmament. Yet, as we speak, this too is headed for international de-legitimation. Even the United States is now moving toward having it abolished.
But, if none of these is permissible, what’s left?
Exactly. Obama wants the Jews defenseless.
There can be no other explanation.

  1. The treatment of Netanyahu over the past several months is one of the most shameful things to come out of our White House ever. I had not heard this news.

Obama has never been a fan of Israel from before he was elected president. His friends are part of the Free Gaza group involved in the flotilla. Israel must feel very alone right now.

  3. It is embarrassing how BO treats our allies like garbage and grovels at the feet of our enemies.

More and more ties are being made between the flotilla and friends of Barry. With all of the antisemitism seeping out of the progressives these days, it's easy to believe the regime supports Israel's enemies while ignoring the fact that Israel's enemies hate us too.

Maybe if we love the terrorists enough, they'll stop wanting to kill us....give me a break!

  4. Hi Kristin:
I did a post on Obama's friends being involved in the Free Gaza group a few days ago. In it there was an article talking about Obama's dislike for Israel, so this is nothing new, just something that is destroying a good relationship with an ally.
Obama wants to see Israel fail...it's becoming more obvious every day.

  5. So, a sitting US president take the side of a terrorist group over Israel?

I don't even know what to write next.

This is business as usual for Obama.

  8. This is unconscionable. Our President sides with our enemies while he screws our allies. Obama is a Muslim sympathizer. He is the anti-American president. He ticks me off the way he is mistreating Israel.

  9. This just shows why our votes are so important this November. We need to make sure that Obama and his cronies in Congress and the Senate lose in the coming election. This is our only hope for keeping our country safe from eventually falling into the hands of those who hate Jesus.

Just remember that we need to let everyone know that if we lose control of our country, that we may someday end up under rulers like those who rule Saudi Arabia, where one is not even allowed to bring a Bible into their country. And to think that Obama bows and cowtows to their leader. It makes me sick every time I see the pictures of him bowing to leaders of other countries. But what I do not understand is why so many Americans refuse to understand what this truly means. In Obama's words is so much about how he is a follower of Islamic beliefs over the Christian beliefs. Just look at how he stopped going to church after being elected, and how poor Rev. Wright has been complaining about how he can no longer reach Obama. The Rev. needs to realize that he was used as a means to an end, as so many other Christians who voted for Obama were used.

America needs to wake up. We need to wake Americans up.

    God bless.

  10. TCL,

Would you expect anything less from an Islamic Radical from another country?

Let's call Barry what he truly is, an Islamic Raised Terrorist that is hell bent on destroying this country from within!

Many people in the United States are apathetic and as long as things seem OK with them, then they aren't interested in politics or what's happening in the world. I know people like this and it's very disheartening. They watch the 5:00 PM news on their local channel and go about their lives with their heads in the sand. No matter what people try to tell them, they aren't interested.
I also know people who were like this and have had an epiphany. They started to pay attention and are now on board with the reality of our country's/world's problems.
We must continue to spread the truth and try our best to make everyone understand, but there is always going to be people who just don't care or are willing to believe whatever the MSM tells them is true.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I hope you'll come back.

Absolutely correct. How could he sit in that church for 20 years if he didn't agree with the Rev.?
