It's Over...

Obama got his revenge.

I just finished listening to Mitt Romney's gracious concession speech.  Even the crowd of Romney supporters showed class when they applauded Romney's statements on wishing President Obama and his family congratulations.

One of the most ridiculous statements I heard tonight was, now that President Obama doesn't have to worry about running for president again, he will moderate and work with the Republicans.  Don't count on it. I think he'll go even more left and finish off his "fundamental transformation" of America.  What's to stop him now?

Probably the most disappointing and dreadful result of this election is that we have no chance of ending ObamaCare.  Does anyone see a way out now?

I have to say, I was cautiously optimistic about this election.  It's a sad day, and I am so very disappointed in the voters.  How could these fools vote for a guy who has presided over the decline of America?  Just goes to show you how reliant people have become on government to sustain their lives.  Guess the fact that dictator thugs from across the world were supporting him didn't make any difference.

I also cannot help placing a large piece of the blame on the main stream media, that did everything in it's power to get President Obama re-elected.  It never told the truth about him and continue to cover up his failures.

I wonder if the truth about Benghazi will be covered in the MSM now that the election is over.  Will President Obama be taken to task for it?  How about Fast and Furious?  Will that debacle be resolved?  Let's hope the GOP in Congress don't drop the ball on these fiascos.

The sad thing is that nothing is going to change, except things will start to go downhill even faster.  President Obama doesn't have to worry about getting elected again, so his agenda will be on fast "forward".

I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read TCL Blog and FB page during the past 4 years.  President Obama and his agenda is why I started the blog, so I won't stop writing it now.

If you want to rant, please feel free to do it in the comment section.  Get it off your chest...then we will go on.  What other choice do we have?

  1. I agree with you. The media is quite responsible here. I also am very sad now as I think through the various vital issues that will not be addressed in the next 4 years. There were a lot of things riding on a Romney presidency.
I'm also sad for the Romneys. What a classy family. America rejected such a fine man who would have been such a fine president.
I am with you - we will blog on! We have to.

    1. Thank you for stopping by and commenting. We all need to stick together now because, if we give up, they win forever.

  2. I am in bigger shock than I was 4 yrs ago . The progressive people are happy ; but I'm sure most of them don't have a clue about what the true agenda is for our country . I am a bundle of emotions . I am sickened by people's comments and the intelligence level . Many in our state are concerned about gay marriage and pot being legalized and free birth control and healthcare . Is that all that really matters to them ? we are screwed .

    1. Yes, we are screwed. It is discouraging to think that so many Americans think that free birth control, legalized pot, free stuff, etc. are more important than their freedom. I neglected to include that the educational system in America has a lot to do with the mentality of the people. People have been indoctrinated through the educational system that has been monopolized by the Progressives for almost 100 years.

    2. harleywife, to your questions, the answer is yes. This is the new majority in America. One that takes rather than gives to sum it up in 10 words or less.

  3. I agree with both you and Lisa. The MSM is responsible here. They have committed journalistic malpractice in order to re-elect their man. To me this shows how gullible the American voter is, to buy Obama's lies and how apathetic voters are today versus when Reagan was elected. In fact I think that I am going to hsve to distance myself from one of my friends who voted for Obama (at least for now). How can I associate with someone who voted for the death of America? Who misunderstands America so much, doesn't understand the history of America, who would vote for someone who would force me to (or try to) abandon my faith and conscience? If she can't even respect my right as a citizen to practice my religion as outlined by the First Amendment is this person really a friend? Unfortunately she is an ignorant voter who needs to go beyond her bubble, needs to stop solely watching the commie news channels, and learn the truth. Plus illegal Latinos may have stolen this election for Obama. Personally before this election I wasn't for rounding up the Hispanics who entered this country illegally and deporting them for having broken the law but now I am all for that.

    1. I am finding it hard to accept that I also have family and friends who voted for President Obama. I am also finding it hard to accept that half of this country, after all we've been through in the past 4 years, are willing to give President Obama "another chance". Rush is on the radio now saying that we are outnumbered. He's right. I mentioned the educational system in a previous post. I believe that and the media have culpability in this travesty.

  5. TCL, I agree that obama and the dems will take this re-election as affirmation of their agenda and they will put the hammer down.

I blame the republican party for much of this result. See my latest post as it's kinda silly to copy and paste here.

  7. I'm just wondering what happened to all of that enthusiasm in 2010? Where'd everybody go this time around? When it REALLY counted?

Now were just plain screwed. The moochers and thieves are emboldened, and the politicians that pander to them are going to go just plain crazy from now on: free everything for everybody if you vote for me! No stopping them until our society collapses into madness.

  8. WC, my Blog Talk Radio show co-host, is a WW2 buff and is convinced that we'll be caught up in a world war within two years. The war will, at some point, deploy nuclear weapons.

I am not convinced that such a thing is going to happen.

For one thing, the Left has wised up over the past several decades. The slide into serfdom will be more gradual and will lack any kind of spectacular aspect.

Private industry will erode to the point that a government job is the only job with decent wages and benefits. The bureaucracy will feed on itself, and as many of us who never worked for the government die off, those who didn't grab a government job will be downtrodden serfs and live in a form of gulag.

Within just one more term of Obama, education will be revamped so that it promotes even more Leftism, that is, fosters the ideas of ever-expanding rights (health care, employment, healthy food, etc.). In other words, the government at all levels will be "the parent" from cradle to grave.

Also within an Obama second term, we'll see significant erosion of the First Amendment. People will be afraid to speak out of the fear of being imprisoned or losing their jobs. Indeed, we're already seen a lot of people afraid to speak their conservative views out of the fear of losing their jobs.

Eventually, of course, a governmental bureaucracy that feeds on itself will cannibalize itself, and the standard of living will dramatically decline to that of a Third World country.

I see an Orwellian World rising!

I'm glad that I'm as old as I am.

    1. I agree that America is on "fast forward" to decline. I don't know if what you predict is all going to come true (I hope not). We only have so much control of it, the rest is in God's hands. So, I am praying for our country and putting my faith in God. Plus I will continue to stay aware of what is going on in America and speaking out against those who want to destroy her. What else can we do?

  9. I've wondered (and hoped) for a long time about whether there were enough of us to stop the agenda......we just got our answer. I really don't see a way back.
