Take a Hint Mitt

Click for Larger View

All I'm hearing on TV from the political pundits is that Mitt Romney must stop telling us how bad the economy is and start telling us what he's going to do about it:
Nevertheless, this obvious display of a lack of confidence in the ability of a major party’s nominee to persuade voters should trouble the Romney camp, especially given similar comments by conservative pundit Bill Kristol:
The economy is of course important. But voters want to hear what Romney is going to do about the economy. He can “speak about” how bad the economy is all he wants—though Americans are already well aware of the economy’s problems—but doesn’t the content of what Romney has to say matter? What is his economic growth agenda? His deficit reform agenda? His health care reform agenda? His tax reform agenda? His replacement for Dodd-Frank? No need for any of that, I suppose the Romney campaign believes. Just need to keep on “speaking about the economy.”
That's going to be a big task for Mitt.  Just look at that list up there...59 policy proposals and a 160 page document explaining them.  Yikes, who's got time to read that?  A little consolidation is in order.  Most people don't have a very long attention span.

There is also criticism of his advisers, many who have been with Romney since his days in Massachusetts:
Prominent conservative Republicans excoriated Mitt Romney’s campaign Thursday, publicly ridiculing his longtime core team of advisers — “the Boston boys,” as the Wall Street Journal labeled them — and suggesting they are bungling the presidential race.
It's not good to have the guys on your side bashing you every night on TV, on the internet and in the newspapers.  I hope the Romney campaign is taking some of the criticism to heart.

Whatever the reason(s), Mitt Romney and the GOP better get their act together soon, or we will be spending the next four years under an Obama Regime that will finish it's task of fundamentally transforming the United States of America.

This still makes my blood run cold...

  2. TCL, I feel your frustration... It's time we started fighting as if our lives depended on it, because they do... Being a 61 year old quadriplegic, if Obamacare is fully implemented, I'm a dead man should I have any life threatening issues... The "Death Panel" will take one look at me and say "don't spend a dime on this one, he's got one wheel in the grave"... If there were to be anything such as a "tie breaker", they'd see that I'm a registered Republican and that surely would seal my fate... That having been said, you have met me, and know I'm not going without one hell of a fight as I just found out yesterday my sixth grandchild is in the oven... I've got five granddaughters so God, if you're listening, how about making this one a boy? No pressure, just a request...

    1. Congratulations, Grandpop!
It ain't over yet, so let's keep fighting. Supposedly, more people in this country do not want ObamaCare. Romney is our only way out now.

  3. Odie. Ron Paul is the man for that.

Well, obama has been banging on Romney based on his Bain Capital experience. Romney WAS going to hammer obama on his working career, except obama doesn't have one.

  5. TCL,

Well, if somebody 'offed' him he would become a martyr. You know, like Barak Obama Day, Barak Obama Boulevard, Barak Obama Commemorative Postage stamps etc, you get it!

  6. I honestly don't think that Romney has to articulate much of anything, other than he will stick to conservatism in dealing with economic issues.

The vote in November will be an up or down on Obama. Do voters want another four years of this guy? I can't believe even the dumbest of voters would say yes to that rhetorical question. And it won't matter who is the other guy on the ballot, even if it's Jeffrey Dahmer.

  7. Fredd,

Well, we would sure think so. But how did this obvious fraud get elected in the first place? Our real enemy lurks within the electorate!
