This Day...

September 11, 2001 attacks in New York City: V...
This day we remember the innocents who were murdered 10 years ago in terrorist attacks on America and the families who mourn their loss.

This day we remember and thank our first responders who risked their lives to save others.

This day we remember the patriotism and love we shared with our fellow Americans in the weeks following the attack on our freedom and liberty.

This day we remember and thank those who worked tirelessly at the site in the years following the attack.

This day forces us to face the fact that we are in the fight of our lives with radical Islamic fanatics who will do whatever it takes to wipe us off the face of the earth.

This day we remember and thank our military who have volunteered to carry on and win the fight.

This day we remember that America is the greatest country on the globe and that we will prevail over our enemies.  No matter what it takes, we will prevail.

This day we give thanks that we had the right President at the right time to deal with the situation.

This day we must resolve that we will choose strong leaders who believe that America's national security is their primary job.

This Day we remember That Day,
and we will
Never Forget.
Fox News has a link that features the 9/11 Memorial and it's construction.  It's called The Rise of Freedom.

You can go to the Memorial Guide to find the names of those who were murdered on September 11, 2001 and in the World Trade Center attack that took place on February 26, 1993.

  1. The day is seared into my memory.

I cannot fathom how so many seem to have forgotten.

We mustn't forget and we must tell our children about that day. America will never be the same again.

As time goes on and since we haven't been hit again, people get into a pre-9/11 mentality. Many people were too young to remember or not even born yet. We must never get to a point when this day isn't commemorated.

  4. Beautiful, TCL. So true, so poignant, and let's hope that we do, indeed, elect leaders who understand America. Let's hope we do it before it's too late.

We have a chance in 2012, let's hope we make the right choice.

  6. Very Nice.

I also am happy to have not seen the phrase 'people who died on 9-11' as no one did. They were all murdered by muslims.

I saw it all over last year, so things have improved.

I have it from a good source, these terror people are going to be reclassified back to criminals. That's the next fight I guess. As in, so when does it become a war.

And if this is nothing more than criminal activity then you incompetent TSA *&^*#)@ can keep your hands to yourself. And we don't need janet "the system worked" neapolitian ice cream anymore do we?

I may have gone down a rat hole here. ;-)

  7. PS - My God, can you imagine of Gore was in the White House?

It would have been the crying act, part II (from the orignal clinton boohooing over the USS Cole) and nothing happens.

    I'd put money on that.

I wouldn't be surprised if they reclassify them as criminals. Obama and Eric Holder are on a mission to appease. This is exactly why the terrorists see us as easy targets. Our leaders are weak.

I don't even want to think about what it would have been like if algore was president.

  10. A great and moving post, TCL.

We must never forget 9/11, and both who and why those terrorists attacked the United States.

    God Bless America!

  15. Hi Bunni:
We must never forget and we must tell the children the truth about it. The progressives are already trying to rewrite history.
