Happy 2011...I Hope

Graphic by angwbc

What a year!  I was trying to think about my last post for 2010 and what I should do with it.  I decided to look up New Years quotes that might be nice to post for the end of this turbulent year.  I found some at  a website called The Quote Garden.   After reading some of them, I thought a bit of tweaking was in order.  Here goes:
An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year Congress in.  A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year Congress leaves.  ~original quote by Bill Vaughan

Many people RINOs look forward to the new year for a new start on old habits.  ~original quote by Author Unknown

Year's end is neither an end nor a beginning for Congress but a going on, with all despite the wisdom that experience can instill in us them~original quote by Hal Borland

Cheers to a new year Congress and another chance for us them to get it right, God Help Us~original quote by Oprah Winfrey

May all your troubles last as long as your Obama's promises for transparency did New Year's resolutions ~original quote by Joey Adams

Thank you to all of the people who have been kind enough to join my blog, Facebook page, Twitter and YouTube sites.  I appreciate it more than I can tell you.  I also want to thank TCGuy for his help with the posts (he's a great sounding board) and for putting up with my long hours on the laptop.

I wish all of you and your families a New Year full of happiness, health, love and prosperity.  Thank you for making 2010 an interesting year.  Your blogs, comments, insight and friendliness have helped make a year of political uncertainty and frustration one I could bear with "hope".  Yes, I used one of Obama's favorite words, but in this case it is really true.  You have given me "hope" because you have proven that We The People are bigger than the Obama Agenda.

Obama may be in control now, but with our perseverance in spreading the truth about his plans for America, we will prevail.   The hard work we did to support conservative candidates, who will be headed to DC next week, is another reason to celebrate.  Let's keep their feet to the fire in 2011 and make them accountable for their campaign promises.  It's up to us to continue our enthusiasm for a change for the better in 2011.  I know we are up for it.

I'm looking forward to the New Year and sharing it with all of you.

Happy New Year
and
God Bless You All
