Update 11/16 & 11/18: TCL is Prepared For Janet Napolitano's Air Travel Security "Adjustments"

Video via CNS News
( - When asked today if she will insist that Muslim women wearing hijabs must go through full body pat downs before boarding planes, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano did not say yes or no, but told there will be “adjustments” and “more to come” on the issue.
“On the pat downs, CAIR [the Council on American-Islamic Relations] has recommended that Muslim women wearing hijabs refuse to go through the full body pat downs before boarding planes,” asked Napolitano at a Monday press conference. “Will you insist that they do go through full body pat downs before boarding planes?”
“Look, we have, like I said before, we are doing what we need to do to protect the traveling public and adjustments will be made where they need to be made,” Napolitano responded. “With respect to that particular issue, I think there will be more to come. But, again, the goal here, you know, we’re not doing this just to do it.  We’re doing it because we need to keep powders and gels and liquids off of planes that are unauthorized just as we need to keep metals off of planes.  Read more...
We can all guess what Secretary Napolitano's decision will be on this matter.  So, in preparation for Secretary Napolitano's travel security "adjustments", and while awaiting the time when she let's us in on the "more to come", The Conservative Lady is looking ahead and has purchased her future travel attire.
Here's a sneak peak:
UPDATE 11/16: Guess who is profiting off of the new TSA full body scan machines.  Spooky Dude  himself!
As for the company’s other political connections, it also appears that none other than George Soros, the billionaire funder of the country’s liberal political infrastructure, owns 11,300 shares of OSI Systems Inc., the company that owns Rapiscan. Not surprisingly, OSI’s stock has appreciated considerably over the course of the year. Soros certainly is a savvy investor.

UPDATE 11/18:  Latest on Soros & the stock.

  1. LOL. I really want to see in that outfit. Hey, that will still keep your id uncover as well!!

  2. JACG:
If you're interested, I can give you the name of my seamstress.

  3. I hear women in burkas have a low rate of malaria. Mosquitos can't find them anywhere. Hey, there is always a bright side, right?

  4. Opie:
That's comforting to know. Maybe I should wear it even when I'm not at the when I'm working in the yard.

  5. Your outfit is funny but seriously that whole thing with JN just pissed me off. Why can't the PTB just say, you people who wear the hijabs are the reason we've got to do the porn scan or molestation of our people for them to be able to fly.

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety -Benjamin Franklin

Keep Protesting this invasion of Privacy!

  6. Well, at least they aren't racially profiling. I mean, free flowing robes on muslim women, or men disguised as women, would NEVER be used to conceal anything dangerous, so of course they ought to be given a pass on the pat downs. I mean, it's not as if any of the threats to our safety come from the muslin religion or anything. Yeah, let's just pat down nuns and people in wheelchairs and let the unseen individuals whose bodies are completely hidden just walk on past. Makes perfect sense.

  7. Well, as with everyone in this administration, Napolitano hasn't quite reached her level of incompetence. She's really close though. Burkas aren't the problem, but an indecisive government is!

  8. RK:
I remember that magazine cover, too..."We Are All Socialists Now". One size, fits all.

  9. Momma Bear:
Say that out loud and you'll be called a "racist, hate monger". I agree with you. The political correctness that will drive Janet Napolitano's "adjustment" to the rules, is just another nail in our coffin.
Glenn Beck has been talking about how Israel handles airport security. We should take a lesson from them.

  10. Kris:
I'm glad you understand the rationality of airport security. Maybe Janet can give you a job, ha, ha.
Seriously, you're snarky comment is well taken and it will be interesting to watch how Homeland Security handles this situation.

  11. TCL, about your comment at my old site, yes my host is down. Barely 3 days in and they have a problem. About an hour ago they told me this is rare, and should be fixed quickly. Thanks for the heads up and I appreciate your trying to link.

  12. I understand that Big Sis said if you don't want to be scannedfor patted-down, don't fly. Another swipe at free enterprise for sure (kinda like Obama's 'don't go to Vegas.'

I'm with you, burkha'ed women (and men) will slide through.

  13. Hi Maggie:
I'm glad you knew about the blog link problem. Hope it gets fixed soon.
Today I heard Glenn Beck say that George Soros has an interest in those new nudie scan machines.

  14. lol okie we have to allow the feds to abuse us..I dont think so!

  15. Angel:
Maybe the Israeli way of airline security screening is the answer. Oops...that's profiling...we'd never get away with that.

  16. This present administration is absolutely the most Godless that America has ever seen. We need more blogs like yours.

I have added myself to follow your blog. You are more than welcome to visit my blog and become a follower also.

  17. covnitkpr1:
Thanks for the follow and I'll stop by your place soon.
