I Have One Word for Bristol...

PRENUP

The engagement is back on!

Via:  Comcast.net

NEW YORK — Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston say they're engaged and hope to get married within six weeks in Alaska.
Palin, the daughter of 2008 vice-presidential candidate and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, is featured on the cover of Us Weekly with Johnston, holding their 18-month-old son, Tripp.
Palin and Johnston tell the magazine they reconnected while working out a custody plan and became engaged two weeks ago.
I really do wish them good luck and I hope Levi is sincere in his apology and not just seeing $$$ in his future.

  1. LOL ... good advice.

And I'm thinking, "What is she thinking?"

  2. Agreed. This guy goes where he can get the most visibility. Once his 15 minutes were up, he falls back to his default position. Slime.

What I would like to know is what Sarah & Todd are "really" thinking.

I remember when I was 19 years old and, no matter what my parents told me, I was going to do what I wanted to do. Bristol is at that point in her life where she thinks she knows better than her parents.
As for Levi...that guy is bad news.

  5. All we can do is pray for them. I think the guy has a lot of growing up to do.

As for her parents, what can they do to stop it? She's going to do what she's going to do.

Exactly. Bristol is an adult and her parents have no control over her decisions. Hopefully, things will work out for them. The most important thing they must remember is that they have a child depending on them.

I fear you're right. Bristol apparently has forgiven him.
    I am doubtful.

  8. I hope against hope for the little guy's sake that they stay married for the next 50 years. It would be great for him to have both parents in the same home.

  9. It's comforting to know that their baby can remember Dad after he leaves the family - that Playgirl centerfold won't go away.

I'm with you, I wish them luck but kinda/sorta think he sees Sarah as an up-and-comer after all, not the national joke he tried to project, and now wants a piece of the action (pun intended)

  10. Ok, I have some words:

    Run

    Idiot

    Naive

He is trash. It is one thing to say bad things after a break up to your freinds, it is totally another to go on national television. Yes, they have a child to consider in all of this, but she is making a huge mistake....let us hope for her son's sake that he has grown up and we are all wrong. She will survive this, but it can very damaging to her son.

The first thing that came into my mind was all the money Sarah Palin is making with her books and her speeches. It's very possible his "handlers" told him to make amends and reap the rewards.
    I hope I'm wrong.

I hope Levi has changed and that your scenario comes true. I'm just very skeptical and I hope I'm wrong.

  13. VERY good advice. I hope Sarah talks some sense into that girl.

If Sarah can talk sense into a starry eyed 19 year old, she deserves to be President.
