In what may be the biggest sign of Democratic despair in this midterm cycle, House Appropriations Chair David Obey has decided not seek re-election. In his district, that means that Sean Duffy’s chances for winning the election have markedly increased. For Democrats nationwide, it may be a harbinger of a devastating midterm cycle.
And in honor of "another one biting the dust", here's the latest Paul Shanklin parody, See You In November. I've been trying to find this parody for several days now after I heard it on Rush's show, and here it is...just in time to honor the Democrats as they slowly sink into the abyss...
See You In November
by Paul Shanklin
"Bye Bye, So Long Farewell. Bye Bye, So long. Have a good time, but remember. There is danger coming on November 3rd. When you see us in November, America will be flipping you the bird...".
And another version...just for fun:

I guess we won't be seeing some of the Dems who are dropping out. SO SORRY. Not.
ReplyDeleteHi Opie:
ReplyDeleteThe ones dropping out are the smart ones. They will not be missed.
Now lets hope some of the RINOs follow suit.
It all depends on two things:
ReplyDelete1. Can we stop the amnesty train?
2. Are we going to wise up and start checking ID at the polls?
If it's a fair election the progressives will lose. Just remember they did not get into power by playing fair.
Lady, don't let your guard down. The new batch of Democraps will all say, "I had nothing to do with it. The guy that did just retired." We must keep the pressure on until November, 2012.
ReplyDeleteI say to the Dems and RINOS: Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Good riddance!
ReplyDeleteI loved both versions of the song.
great song, I missed that. Remember November........

ReplyDeleteVery true. We also know that ACORN is still around. They may have different names, but it's all the same corrupt organization.
Hi Odie:
ReplyDeleteOh, I know that things can turn on a dime and that nothing is definite for the November election. We must remember what Obama and the Dems have forced upon us over the past 1-1/2 years and keep informing everyone of what the progressives plan for this country.
Teresa & Rotti:
ReplyDeletePaul Shanklin's parodies are great.
Great songs. I think it's still going to be a fight. We'll have to deal with lies, voter fraud, and all the typical Dem techniques.
ReplyDeleteI want to be Paul Shanklin when I grow up.
ReplyDeleteMatt:
ReplyDeleteAt least we know about the corruption the Left is capable of now that they have been exposed. Unfortunately, the state-run media continues to be in their corner, so we have an uphill battle from now on. I just hope the GOP won't screw it up if/when they get the Congress back.
Snarky:
ReplyDeleteYou do pretty good yourself when it comes to snark...but can you sing?
Democrat dirty tricks only work well when the vote is somewhat close.
ReplyDeleteWhen their popularity is in free fall, their skullduggery (ACORN, et al) falls flat as we all saw in the 2010 results. This Novemeber could rival that thumpin' ...oops, that's Dubya's word. It would match or exceed their shellacking (Obama's characterization).
Freed... As long as the GOP doesn't screw it up.
