Hi Teresa: In years past, my favorite driver was Dale Earnhart, Sr. who was killed at Daytona in 2001 right before our eyes. Now my favorite driver is Tony Stewart #14...with Ryan Newman #39 as a close second. They are team mates, so it's easy to root for them.
Hi Sol: Well, you know I'm gonna be rooting for Tony and Ryan, but if they have problems, I'll think of you and root for Jimmy. Thanks for the good wishes. Look for me in the stands...I'll be the one waving to you, ha, ha.
Hi Bunni: Thanks for the good wishes. We got home yesterday after a fun time at the races. But wait until you read my next post which I will be publishing within a day or so. The races were just part of the fun!
Guy From Brooklyn: I checked out that link you provided. I've been off-line for almost a week and it's the first time I've seen this. As a Tea Party protest participant, I find this very troubling and mis-representative of the people I've met and seen at the Tea Party events I've attended. I found this post about Mr. Robertson from April that you may find interesting. http://houstontps.org/?p=318 I found this article disturbing, too. There will always be bad apples in the barrel and Mr. Robertson is definitely rotten to the core if that sign he is carrying is legit and not a photoshop deal. The Left will use this against the Tea Party movement, which is expected, so the movement must denounce Mr. Robertson.
jacg: Thanks, I look forward to seeing them. I was really disappointed that on the day we left for our trip to Daytona, Marco Rubio was holding an event right over the bridge from us in Fort Myers and I couldn't go.
The fun did begin...although it was a bit nippy in Daytona. I had a great time and a very big, unexpected opportunity while I was there. I'll be posting about it soon.
Enjoy, TCL. February is one of the greatest months to be in Florida. See you when you get back.
