  1. If you really think it about, it is fault that a dem is not sitting in that seat. If he had retired when he found out he was dying it would have gone to a dem.

    The process was so ugly and so public that people realized that checks and balances were badly needed in the senate. It was an uprising against how dirty the libs were playing.

    I don't mean to disrespect t
    he dead, but I think Brown won because of the way the dems behaved from the fall onward.

    Of course I am happy it turned out this way, but it is ironic.

    I guess Teddy thought he better stay on as long as possible in case a vote was needed. For whatever reason, the Dems thought it was the best thing to do, or they would have replaced him sooner. Who knows? I'm just happy things turned out the way they did.
