Keep Rush In Your Prayers

Via: Fox
HONOLULU —  Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh was taken to a hospital after suffering chest pains and was resting comfortably Wednesday, his radio program said in a statement.
"Rush was admitted to and is resting comfortably in a Honolulu hospital today after suffering chest pains," the statement said. "Rush appreciates your prayers and well wishes and will keep you updated via and on his radio program."
Kit Carson, Limbaugh's chief of staff, said he had no further information on Limbaugh's condition.  Read more...

When I heard the report on Fox News last evening that Rush had been taken to the hospital and was in serious condition, I felt fear...just as if it had been a family member.  We listen to his radio show every day, so he has become part of our routine.  Our car has a list of his radio stations so that when we travel away from home, we can catch his program while on the road.  We even went to his show in Philadelphia at the Academy of Music to see him in person...that's where he put the Harry Reid letter up for auction on E-bay.

Rush is part of our lives and one of the greatest freedom fighters in this country.  Let's keep him in our prayers and hope that he has a quick and complete recovery.  The new year will bring many challenges and we need Rush's insight and commentary as we fight the good fight against the tyranny of our present administration.

I have linked to William Shatner's recent interview with Rush.  I just saw it for the first time and found it very personal and interesting.   If you haven't seen it, take a few minutes to listen to Rush speak about himself and his family.  The transcript is also available at the link.  See the video at Rush

UPDATE: Keep posted on Rush here.

  1. I wonder if the amount of weight he lost as quickly as he lost it hurt. Of course, I always wonder what the long-term effects to his health did his personal addiction cause. I hope he is okay.

  2. Bill:
I suppose we will find out more information during his show today. I think Walter Williams is the fill-in host.
I sure hope he is OK.

  3. Keeping Rush in my thoughts and prayers. I hope he has a speedy recovery.

  4. Teresa:
It sounds like they are doing tests today to find out what his problem is. Have a Happy New Year.

  5. I'll be saying a prayer for him.

    Have a great New Year.

  6. I've seen some of the stuff that the KOSsacks and the DUmmies have posted. It's all pretty disgusting, even with the mods trying to clean it up. They are gloating and calling for his death. However, he is in my prayers.

Happy New Year all, and especially to you Rush. Get well soon.

  7. It seems like I do most of my blog reading in the middle of the night now.

I hope you had a very nice evening ringing in the new year.

2010 - an election year. A lot to look forward to!!

  8. I was very afraid and concerned also when I first heard about Rush. It would be awful without him.
Thanks for posting this, TCL, I think the worst is over,a nd we'll all keep praying.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!, Dear Lady. I look forward to reading your super blog in 2010 and beyond!

  9. I'm very concerned about Rush - he's a smart man, wise to go right to the hospital. I don't care about the fact that he's one of the greatest conservative leaders of all time.

  10. LSP, Matt, Bunni & Candle:
With all of these prayers, Rush is sure to be well in no time. Looking forward to our discussions in 2010. It's going to be a busy year!

  11. JACG:
I know what you mean about reading in the middle of the night. I've lost a lot of sleep surfing the net and keeping up with blogging.
I hope you and your family have a happy, healthy & prosperous 2010.

  12. Terrific news - Rush out of the hospital and even had a press conference. He looks totally fine. He is not the head of the Republican party as some have said, but he certainly IS a huge conservative voice!

  13. Janie Lynn:
Rush may not be the head of the Republican party, but I sure wish they would start listening to him.
I'm happy he is out of the hospital and will be back on the radio soon.
