The Empire Will Strike Back, But The Rebel Alliance Will Prevail

Just returned from the longest trip I've ever taken.  We were in Europe with very few news reports from home.  Internet wasn't available much and TV had only a few English speaking news channels reporting "world news" by foreign reporters.  We didn't know Sen. Ted Cruz had filibustered for defunding ObamaCare until we returned on Wednesday, so I never got a chance to watch his speech.

Unsurprisingly, the MSM is turning Sen. Cruz's speech into a laughing stock by manipulating his words and trying to make him look like a fool.

I found an article at The Blaze with a video montage of Sen. Cruz's speech that gives the "real message" behind it.  It's only 3:13 minutes long but something you'll never see reported on truthfully in the progressive, Obama boot-licking media.

If you go to the article you'll also see a video of Glenn Beck talking about the lies and misreporting.

This and this doesn't help either.

  1. It's good to have you back. You have been missed. Glad your vacation was a long one and I hope it was restful. The mainstream media is all smoke and mirrors now. RT, DW, and even Al Jazeera often offer more accurate and more complete reporting of actual events in the United States, with less spin, than our own news outlets.

    1. Sad to think Hillary Clinton would be right about Al Jazeera.
As for my trip... We were in Germany at our German friends' home on the night of their elections. Very interesting. They have talking heads, too. Our friends explained how the election worked. They were happy that Merkle won, but not that she must find a new coalition to work with. It's a bit confusing, but now we have a better understanding of their government. Merkle will have to work with a more liberal party than before, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

    2. I am hoping that Germany stops accosting the families who homeschool with SWAT teams. Perhaps a more liberal governmental influence will motivate them to revise some of the anti-homeschooling laws which were instituted by Hitler and are in need of revision, in order to bring Germany in line with the vast majority of the rest of the world, including Europe on this. There's a post on this on my blog.
Again, glad to have you back.

    1. Thanks for asking. This year was a big one for us...25th Wedding Anniversary. Been wanting to go to Italy for many years and decided this should be the year. We visited Barcelona, Italy and Germany. It was a wonderful trip with only one glitch...on the 4th day into the trip I hurt my foot (same one I broke in 2011) and spent the first week of our Italy tour in a wheel chair and on crutches (doctor in Barcelona said it was a bad sprain) . Otherwise, the trip was great. Saw so many things I never dreamed I'd ever see. The end of the trip was spent with our friends in Germany who showed us all around their region. We are so blessed to have had this opportunity. As for my foot...I'm getting it checked out on Wednesday because it still hurts.
      Hope you're feeling well, Teresa.

    1. "There", but not for long. Should be "here" by the end of October. Hope all is well with you and yours.
