The DNC is planning to bus in students and black church members on Thursday to attend the speech, not to mention the free ticket giveaways. Apparently, the Dems have been concerned about too many "empty chairs" showing up in the house that evening. "Empty chairs" would not be good optics, especially when compared to the crowds President Obama had back in 2008.
Maybe the "empty chairs" showing up won't be the real problem. Maybe the same old "empty words" from 2008 will show up, too. That may be the bigger problem...
