Andrew Breitbart claimed he had videos that would be part of the vetting process of Barack Obama before the 2012 election. Vetting process? It's about time.
Today it was announced that one of these videos is being aired on Hannity tonight on FNC at 9 PM ET. An edited copy of this video has been flying around the internet today. It shows a young Obama speaking at a Harvard protest. He is introducing a man named, Prof. Derrick Bell. According Breitbart.com, the video, "...shows a young Barack Obama leading a protest at Harvard Law School on behalf of Prof. Derrick Bell, a radical academic tied to Jeremiah Wright"...". Obama had a lot of nice things to say about Professor Bell, and that's not surprising after hearing that Prof. Bell and Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama's former pastor, were "tied".
I have never heard of Prof. Derrick Bell, so I did a little poking around the internet. Apparently, Prof. Bell wrote some books focusing on racial issues. I also found a website that includes reviews of Prof. Bell's books. The site is from the Department of Politics and Government, Illinois State University. What better way to find out what Prof. Bell's thoughts are on race than to read the reviews of his writings?
After you read some of the reviews of Prof. Bell's books and seeing what Bell professed in his words , the question can be asked...is this how President Obama thinks, too? After all, Obama praises Prof. Bell in this (edited) video.
Breitbart.com Editor-in-Chief Joel Pollak and Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro will appear on The Sean Hannity Show to discuss the tape. The full tape will be released tonight on Fox News' Hannity.
Here's the link to the book review website: The Race and Ethnicity Book Review Discussion.
If you have time, take a few minutes yourself to peruse through the reviews. I've gone through a few, and here are three samples of reviews of two of Prof. Bell's books:
Review of Derrick Bell, AND WE ARE NOT SAVED (Basic Books, 1987)
"...While Bell is right that the United States is far from being a picture of racial justice, he ignores the progress blacks have made. Such progress has been slow and uneven, but surely more has been made than Bell would admit when he speaks of "citizens of color whose lives are little less circumscribed than were those of their slave forbears." But in Bell's view, the primary concern of whites is retention of their dominant position in society, and the only gains blacks have made have been grudgingly conceded by whites in order to keep blacks from openly rebelling..."
Review of Derrick Bell, AND WE ARE NOT SAVED (Basic Books, 1987)"...Bell truly believes that late-20th-century black Americans should be compensated for the inhumanities suffered by their ancestors..."
Like I said, we need to ask the question, "Does Barack Obama believe the same things Prof. Bell states in his writings?". I think that answer is becoming more evident every day. Twenty years in Rev. Wright's church should have given America the first clue, unfortunately we can thank the MSM for disregarding and downplaying that story.Review of Derrick Bell, FACES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WELL (Basic Books, 1992)"...Upon reading the book I was both surprised and at times disappointed with the way in which Bell ended some of the chronicles. He asserts that racism is a permanent reality in America and that nothing that civil rights groups or white liberals do will change that fact. Bell does acknowledge that blacks have made some strides in this country over the past two hundred years, however he states that whites only allow those minute advances to pacify the masses, and even then there are alternative motives for doing so..."
LET THE VETTING BEGIN and let the MSM know that this time we are not going to allow them to cover up for the radical that sits in the Oval Office.
Thank you Andrew Breitbart.
