The Obama Administration's Habit of Flipping The Bird

The Obama Administration thinks it is above the law.  Obama and his crew have a bad habit of, basically, flipping the bird to the Constitution and to the courts who are upholding it.

We all know it.

Here are a few examples of their continually growing list of showing their middle finger to the rule of law:

According to Heritage Foundation - Morning Bell:

The Obamacare Assault on the Rule of Law

Mere hours after senior federal Judge Roger Vinson, a United States Naval Academy graduate, became the second federal judge to find Obamacare’s Section 1501 (the individual mandate) unconstitutional, an anonymous White House official called in to question Judge Vinson’s entire ruling, telling reporters, “There’s something thoroughly odd and unconventional about the analysis.” The only thing “odd and unconventional” here is that a White House official felt it imperative to undermine the legitimacy of a coequal branch of government. Unfortunately this incident just fits into a larger pattern of behavior that calls into question just how far this Administration will bend the rule of law to protect President Barack Obama’s signature accomplishment: Obamacare.  Read more...
In the article, Heritage also points out:
Health care is by far not the only arena where the Obama Administration has sacrificed the rule of law for its own political expediency. It has shredded the Constitution’s Appointments Clause to install its favored bureaucrats at regulatory agencies. Then there was the “outrageous and illegal” takeover of Chrysler, the shakedown of BP, the assertion that President Obama can rewrite our nation’s immigration laws simply by not enforcing them, the refusal to enforce anti-voting-fraud laws, and, back to Obamacare, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius threats to silence insurance companies.
And here's another issue where Obama spits in the face of the court:

According to Bloomberg:

U.S. Adminstration In Contempt Over Gulf Drilling Moratorium, Judge Rules

(

Feb. 3 (Bloomberg) - - The Obama Administration acted in contempt by continuing its deepwater drilling moratorium after the policy was struck down, a New Orleans judge ruled.
Interior Department regulators acted with “determined disregard” by lifting and reinstituting a series of policy changes that restricted offshore drilling, following the worst offshore oil spill in U.S. history, U.S. District Judge, Martin Feldman of New Orleans ruled yesterday.
“Each step the government took following the court’s imposition of a preliminary injunction showcases its defiance,” Feldman said in the ruling. Read more...

When the Obama Administration talks about the dictatorship over in Egypt, just remember...it takes one to know one.

Keep spreading the word about what they are doing and, hopefully, more people will begin to see the light.

I think the House is starting to hit some nerves with BO. I just hope they continue to look into the Chicago-thug government the BO Admin has been running and exposes the corruption.

  6. It's a pattern that the liberals have perfected - and were allowed to practice for the last two years. They're still flipping us off, but not quite so flagrantly since the last election.

We need to remove the threat they pose to the Constitution by voting them from office once and for all.

  7. Excellent post! The Obama administration believes in breaking the law while a majority of Americans believe in following the rule of law. Hopefully the worst president in history will be voted out of office in 2012.

I couldn't agree with you more. The only reason Obama is giving the "perception" of wanting to work with the GOP is that the 2012 election is over the horizon. No matter what he says or does, his minions/czars are working in the background to go around Congress and push the progressive Obama agenda through. It's all smoke and mirrors. Americans better realize this before the 2012 elections.

We can't give up on exposing Obama and his agenda for what it is...a progressive train wreck that is going to destroy America. Hopefully, the mistake of 2010 won't be repeated in 2012.
