Ban Speech - Ban Guns

The new conservatives in Congress are going to have their hands full now that the Dems are trying to spin the Tucson shooting into something it was not. Here's another example of what is going to test their resolve to uphold the constitution.

  1. First TCL: Very cool that you have your own video channel. Wish I knew how to do that:-)

Clyburn thinks "restraint on speech" is a good thing, but not his speech of course. Unfortunately for him, there is no Liberal radio talkers to push his agenda for him.

  2. FREE SPEECH ! This guy forgets, conveniently I might add, he's allowed to lie to the American people every day in Congress. And the guns, in this country, are to guarantee this free speech.

That's true. All of the Left's plans on restraint apply only to the Right. Clyburn may not have many radio allies, but he sure has almost every TV and newspaper outlet singing the same tune.

These restrictions do not apply to him.

I'm happy Gov. Palin can stand up for herself. She's one tough lady.

  7. Both the first and second amendments must be upheld and not infringed upon like the first amendment was under the Fairness Doctrine. The progressives have been steadily chipping away at our second amendment rights for awhile and we must not let them use this tragedy for political gain, to take away even more gun rights.

I agree, but it seems Clyburn and his buddies don't feel the same way.

I was happy to hear that majority of Americans don't agree with the spin being put on this story by the Left.
The new Congress is going to be put to the test very soon in having to deal with the likes of Clyburn and his ideas about the 1st & 2nd Amendments.
