The next step in tightened security could be on U.S. public transportation, trains and boats.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says terrorists will continue to look for U.S. vulnerabilities, making tighter security standards necessary.
“[Terrorists] are going to continue to probe the system and try to find a way through,” Napolitano said in an interview that aired Monday night on “Charlie Rose.”
“I think the tighter we get on aviation, we have to also be thinking now about going on to mass transit or to trains or maritime. So, what do we need to be doing to strengthen our protections there?” Read more: http://dailycaller.com/2010/11/23/next-step-for-body-scanners-could-be-trains-boats-metro/#ixzz16BVzCzeL
I love a good SNL video. We must push back against each encroachment on our rights.
ReplyDeleteOh boy ... sounds H O T. Where's the end of the line? Love that "GrOpe and Change" from our leader.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Lady.
If terrorist wanted to hit our public transportation, why didn't they do it years ago?
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're still on the job, CL. I've been a bit under the weather and then busy for awhile.
ReplyDeleteAnyhoo, I feel we could avoid the whole body search/scanner privacy issue if we just did things like the Israelis. But then that would be PC for the Media and the Obama bunch. But it sure works for the Israelis.
"Unable to view the vid outside of USA."
ReplyDeleteNot a single terrorist has been captured by airport security, all have been intercepted by Intelligence or failed due to their own innadequacies.
What next, pat downs on your world renowned yellow school buses, lunch boxes included?
Happy Thanksgiving TCL.
That is some scary stuff, TCL.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the double post but I just saw this on Prison Planet

Hi Opie:
ReplyDeleteToo bad there aren't that many "good" SNL skits anymore. I think the old shows were much funnier.
The administration is hoping to wear Americans down to the point of acceptance. We can't become apathetic again.
Hi Odie:
ReplyDeleteThe end of the line is when we kick the Obama Administration out on it's butt. That time can't come soon enough.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too.
Hi Trestin:
ReplyDeleteThat's a good question. Either Big Sis has received some threats she's not sharing with us or she's throwing it out there as a trial balloon to see how we react. OR...they already have it in the works and we can't say we weren't warned.
I don't know where you are right now, but stay safe.
Hi Dan:
ReplyDeleteMy blogging is usually done in spurts lately. Sorry to hear you've been under the weather.
I keep hearing how good the security is at the Israeli airlines, but also that they have far fewer flights to deal with than here in America. I agree that there has to be a change with how they are handling the searches, and profiling would help.
Hi banned:
ReplyDeleteThe terrorists are sitting back laughing their asses off at us. They don't even have to do anything and we are spending inordinate amounts of money trying to find something "banned" from the airplane on every single person with an airline ticket. They are destroying us financially...and we don't need a whole lot of help with that.
Matt:
ReplyDeleteScary is right. They're grooming us for a "police state".

HAPPY THANKSGIVING CL~!..keep the faith my friend!!!
ReplyDeleteAngel:
ReplyDeleteThanks and hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving Day, too.
We must do everything possible to stop America from becoming a police state.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful and most blessed Thanksgiving.
Hi Cons. Lady! This is scary stuff, we can't escape these awful fascists.
ReplyDeleteOn a lighter note, Happy Belated Thanksgiving. I hope you holiday was great
Teresa:
ReplyDeleteYes we must. I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving, too.
Hi Bunni:
ReplyDeleteThey will probably always be here, but we are stronger!
Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving, too.
