Reports of Democrat Voter Fraud in 2008 Elections Continue

AP
A study finds that at least 341 convicted felons voted illegally in the election that made former "Saturday Night Live" comedian Al Franken a U.S. senator in 2008.

According to FoxNews.com:

Felons Voting Illegally May Have Put Franken Over the Top in Minnesota, Study Finds

The six-month election recount that turned former "Saturday Night Live" comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota's Twin Cities.
That's the finding of an 18-month study conducted by Minnesota Majority, a conservative watchdog group, which found that at least 341 convicted felons in largely Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul voted illegally in the 2008 Senate race between Franken, a Democrat, and his Republican opponent, then-incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman.
Earlier this week it was made known that voter fraud during the Presidential election in 2008 had been documented by Democrat Gig Gaston, but never reported by the press back when it may have made a difference.   You can view the entire documentary at:

Maggie's Notebook: Gigi Gaston Texas Voter Fraud Nov. 2008, Indiana, Michigan...Hillary Voters Not Allowed to Vote

These four videos from Gigi Gaston - We Will Not Be Silenced - may be the most important you view before the November 2010 election, and especially if you are a liberty-loving Democrat in a caucus precinct. Gaston, a life-long Democrat was challenged by a friend to come to Texas and look into voter fraud by Obama operatives, with the help of the Democrat party, during the November 2008 presidential elections. Gaston thought she could document that the claims were untrue, instead she found they were true around the country.

It's disheartening to believe that fraud, such as is committed in third world countries, is happening in the United States of America.  There has always been voter fraud, and always will be, but it seems that it took the 2008 elections to blow the lid off of how prevalent it is.  Stories of voter fraud and intimidation perpetrated by ACORN, the New Black Panthers, the Democrat caucuses and now today's story about Al Franken's election are more proof. Unfortunately these stories won't change the outcome of the elections.  We're stuck with what we have for now.

The documentary by Gigi Gaston especially demonstrates the lengths that unscrupulous people will go to in order to get what they want.  Too bad Ms. Gaston's findings were ignored by the MSM who was complicit in the election of Barack Obama, the president who is destroying our Republic.  Where there should have been outrage by the press, instead there was dereliction of duty:

"It's our right as Americans to be able to vote and everybody was alerted, we went to press, we went to Fox, we went to CNN, nobody wanted to hear the story (in 2008)," Gaston told Fox's Alisyn Camerota. "Nobody wants to deal with this."
Even Fox didn't cover Ms. Gaston's story back in 2008.

Will these revelations about voter fraud and intimidation taking place in America make a difference.  Only time will tell.  I do think that the stories are instructive and put both political parties on notice.  Eventually, the truth comes out and the apathy of Americans is slowing, but surely, dissipating.

  1. Are you trying to tell me there was Democratic voter fraud? Well I'll be ...

  2. Madam,

The sad thing brewing over at HillBuzz is that Ed Morrissey of Hot Air! will not cover the story and largely ignores pleas to do so.

I like Ed dearly, but his hesitancy to address this -- ascribing to it almost "birther-esque" status is disappointing.

It becomes especially galling with the revelation of the convict/felon [multiple!] voting unseating Coleman in Ed's home state and putting that (excuse me) ass-clown, Stewart Smalley into the Senate.

I saw Ed's post at HotAir earlier. He does make some good points for skepticism, but I am going to give the people in the video the benefit of the doubt. I've posted Ed's update and he raises good questions. Maybe Obama has some dirt on Hillary and that's why she didn't pursue it - or - they have a deal where she'll get her turn to run when/if he decides to be a 1 term president. I don't think she'll run against Obama in a primary. I don't think she would challenge a sitting president...unless, of course, the Dem Party decides he's too toxic to win in 2012.

    Ed Morrissey of HotAir.com:
Update: I’ve gotten a couple of testy e-mails from the producers, but after watching the clips from the still-incomplete documentary, I’m still not convinced that this somehow rises above the usual elbows and sucker punches one sees at caucuses. But more to the point, if this is all somehow true and Obama “stole” the nomination from Hillary, then why did Hillary (a) endorse Obama, (b) campaign for him, and (c) leave the Senate to take the SecState job? Are we to believe that the biggest victim of the theft is somehow playing along with it? After all, she could have easily stayed in the Senate, win re-election this year (Republicans may not even be able to beat her replacement, and geared up for a 2012 primary challenge to Obama. The fact that she didn’t should tell people that the collection of irregularities doesn’t amount to a stolen election.

(Sorry about the deleted comment...I thought of something else I wanted to say.)

  6. Matt:
It does seem that stories about voter fraud turn out to be about the Left.

  7. We had reports in Britain of 40-50 cases of electoral fraud in London alone prior to our recent election; I was wondering why the press was now silent about them but, of course, if there have been any charges those cases are now sub judice.

Voter intimidation however is another matter and not something seen in the UK, yet.

  8. Hi banned:
Sometimes I think the so-called MSM is complicit in these things because of their ideology. As for the voter intimidation, I hope the UK never has the problem.

  9. I'm more than a little weary of seeing election irregulatories seen as a sucker punch or just the way things are done.

I don't 'expect' any of this, and I want it to stop. I can easily believe that Hillary was shut out by actual cheating. I can also believe that Obama had something on her, and so she sat down and shut-up to await this fool doing something that will catapult her into the oval office.

We have eye witnesses here. Unless their audio was tampered with, why would we not believe it?

The problem is apparently the degree of importance we attach to the truth. Some see it as politics as usual, but I do not.

TCL - thanks so much for this nice link.

  10. Hi Maggie:
You are welcome about the link. I wanted to include the videos and your blog was where I knew they would be along with a great post.
I agree with everything you said in your comment. I don't know what's up with Hillary, but it will be interesting to find out as 2012 gets closer.

  11. This actually gives me hope for the people of Minnesota.

Unfortunately, the people of MN will have to wait until Al Franken's term is up to do anything about it because I doubt the investigation will result in Franken losing his seat.
The positive thing is that an actual investigation took place and maybe more oversight will take place in the next election.
