God Bless Our Troops...Past and Present.
Thank you for your service to our country.
Our most sincere and heartfelt gratitude is sent to our
Fallen Heroes and their Families.
The debt can never be repaid.
The debt can never be repaid.
UPDATE 5/31/10:
TCGuy and I attended the Dedication and Blessing of the newly designed Veterans Memorial Park in Sea Isle City, NJ this morning. There was a terrific turnout to honor our fallen heroes. Here are a few photos. After the ceremony, we walked out to the beach where a Floral Tribute to the Naval Deceased was made by the Sea Isle City Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.
As for President Obama skipping out on the Arlington Cemetery service...too bad he got rained on in Chicago and missed out on his photo op.
love that deep manly Atkins voice.
ReplyDeletebeautiful.
we are grateful!
Pedaling:
ReplyDeleteThe video brought a tear to my eye when I saw it.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Trace Adkins sung a beautiful song honoring our our troops. I got a little teary-eyed myself.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless the USA!
Have a wonderful weekend :)
Teresa:
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend, too.
Excellent post. I had not seen the Atkins vid. Tweeted this post.
ReplyDeleteHi Opie:
ReplyDeleteThanks and have a great weekend.
Our troops and vets (and their families) should know how much we appreciate their service and sacrifice even if their commander-in-cheif is an idiot.
ReplyDeleteThat is really powerful! Thank you for posting this.
ReplyDeleteRK:
ReplyDeleteAmen to that.
Trestin:
ReplyDeleteThe thanks goes to you and the rest of the military who keep us safe and protect our freedom & liberty. God Bless you all and be safe.
You know it, TCL. Have a great rest of the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat was great TCL. Thanks for posting it.
ReplyDeleteI came over here because I saw your comment at Opus' place saying how many times W and Clinton and Daddy Bush were at Arlingon, etc..I REALLY appreciated that because I didn't want to slam Obama too hard for not going this year and had looked and couldn't find the stats you found.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I DID slam Obama ;-) but mostly because I think a little chicago get-away stinks when we're at war, men and women are DYING, and, added to all the other insults to us we suffer from him, this really bugged me.
Of course, as some have said, it's too hallowed ground for him, anyway...but...
Have a good weekend, Conservative Lady.
Thank you for your post. Our Fallen Heroes deserve respect, not a slap in the face. They fought for our Freedom.
ReplyDeleteMatt:
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of your weekend.
Snarky:
ReplyDeleteThank you for your service and God Bless You.
Z:
ReplyDeleteI can't take the credit for that comment over at Opie's Blog. I think it was Just A Conservative Girl who made it. It's true that other Presidents did not go to Arlington every year, but I bet Obama wished he had this year after being rained out in Chicago. No photo op for him!
Net Leased:
ReplyDeleteWe absolutely owe them our gratitude and respect.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Just a note to say thank you for your posts on this, the IDF fracas with the flotilla folks (God, I hate that Chicago activist Ayers and his wife), and the lovely pictures of your trip to Philadelphia.
ReplyDelete(Also, thank you for your visits and comments to my two blogs. I appreciate your support.)
Oh..and, it is a delight to see that the weather cooperated so wonderfully in New Jersey and Arlington..and, of course, Chicago!
War Planner:
ReplyDeleteMy thanks to you for your taking the time to stop by and comment here, too.
Yes, the weather cooperated very nicely here and in Arlington. And as for Chicago...I thought the "messiah" would have ordered better weather for today...go figure.
Hope you had a nice weekend.
