Senator Lindsey Graham (RINO-SC) Helping Obama With Amnesty Plans

The Obama administration has not taken amnesty for illegal aliens off of the table...they've just been keeping it in the background as they push for ObamaCare.  Obama has plans to bring it back to life soon...real soon...before the mid-term elections.

Despite steep odds, the White House has discussed prospects for reviving a major overhaul of the nation's immigration laws, a commitment that President Obama has postponed once already.

Obama took up the issue privately with his staff Monday in a bid to advance a bill through Congress before lawmakers become too distracted by approaching midterm elections.

And, of course, Senator Lindsey Graham (RINO-SC) is in there reaching across the isle to help Obama succeed.

In the session, Obama and members of his Domestic Policy Council outlined ways to resuscitate the effort in a White House meeting with two senators -- Democrat Charles E. Schumer of New York and Republican Lindsey Graham of South Carolina -- who have spent months trying to craft a bill.

And not to be outdone by the Tea Party movement...

Participants in the White House gathering also pointed to an immigration rally set for March 21 in Washington as a way to spotlight the issue and build needed momentum.

Chuck Schumer fears RINO Gramnesty may be the only Republican who will go along with Obama's plans. (Personally, I think there may be at least one other RINO besides Graham who may go for it...can you say "John McCain"???  But then again, McCain is up for re-election in November, so he's taken his RINO hat off until then.)

Schumer, speaking as he walked quickly through the Capitol, said he was having trouble rounding up Republican supporters apart from Graham. "It's tough finding someone, but we're trying," Schumer said.
On Thursday, Schumer met with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, who oversees the government's immigration efforts, to strategize over potential Republican co-sponsors.
"We're very hopeful we can get a bill done. We have all the pieces in place. We just need a second Republican," Schumer said in a statement.

Just one more Republican?  Holy cow, McCain is Graham's buddy...does he owe him a favor?  Remember, there are a few more RINOs to consider...does the "dynamic duo" from Maine (Snowe & Collins) come to mind.

And it's coming soon.  Obama and his co-horts think that a proposal must come out by early May or it will be overshadowed by the November elections.

Among proponents, there is a consensus that a proposal must move by April or early May to have a realistic chance of passing this year. If that deadline slips, Congress' focus is likely to shift to the November elections, making it impossible to take up major legislation.

So, there you have it.  Obama has no qualms about tackling more of his agenda items while he has the chance, and this "item" will help build the Democrat voting electorate if successful.  And, once again, Lindsey RINO Gramnesty is more than willing to accommodate.

I hope the people in South Carolina take note of how Senator Graham continues to show his RINO side and then decide to find a better candidate to replace him.  Unfortunately, that will have to wait for another 5 years, as Graham was just re-elected to office in 2008.  I can only guess that this is why he seems so free to follow his liberal leanings...no threat to his seat at this time.  Not only is "amnesty" on his agenda, but "cap & tax" is another policy he is actively pursuing. All this and the fact that the Dems may use Senator Graham to help them close GITMO, as reported in my previous post.   With friends like him...

One more thing...did you notice Senator Graham seems to be the GOP representative favored by most news outlets?  It just seems to me he's always on with the talking heads.

Read more about it in the LA Times.

  1. Elephonky is a perfect illustration and description of Lindsay Graham. The RINO needs to be booted from office. These illegals need to immigrate here the proper way. We should not be rewarding illegal activity.

  2. I can't say I'm surprised. They have had a terrible time destroying the country by pushing Obamacare. Makes sense they would pivot to Amnesty. Gotta get their licks in before we punish them in November.

  3. Hi Teresa:
Unfortunately, the Dems don't really care about coming to America the "legal" way. They are more interested in votes, and the illegals will be the way to pump up their electorate to ensure future political governance.

  4. Hi Opie:
Why not tackle it all before the elections. Obama is asking the Dems to fall on their swords for him with ObamaCare. Why not get it all done while they can. It just ticks me off that a Republican (RINO) is going along with it all. Makes me sick.

That's for sure, but we're stuck with him now for several more years.
It amazes me that South Carolina can elect a great Republican like Jim DeMint and then keep re-electing a RINO like Lindsey Graham. Can't they find a conservative to run against him in a primary?
