Happy "Earth" Day - or - "Dirt" Day (Whatever)

Happy "Earth Day" to all you polluters out there in blog land. My contribution to "Earth Day" will be to introduce you to 2 new websites:

Global Warming Hoax.com

Heartland Institute

I hope you enjoy the vast amount of information about Global Warming or Climate Change (or whatever the environmental wackos are calling it nowadays) on these sites.

With the threat of "Cap and Trade" legislation being passed and the scare tactics used to force us into accepting Prez BO's environmental crisis BS, it's time to start asking some questions and getting informed.

Why is everything Al Gore says taken as fact? This is a guy who makes money by selling carbon credits. He is the Chairman of a company called "Generation Investment Management". Here is the link to Mr. Gore's page on the website. You can search around it and see what the company is all about.

There are 31,478 American scientists who reject the global warming crisis and have signed the Global Warming Petition Project. You can look through the website for information about the petition and see who signed it.

The link below is to the keynote address delivered by
Lord Christopher Monckton at the 2009 International Conference on Climate Change on March 10, 2009. PLEASE take the time to read it; you will not be disappointed and you may learn something...I did.

Keynote Address

An excerpt from the keynote address:
When the Founding Fathers of this great nation met in that hot summer long ago in the City of Brotherly Love to craft the noble Constitution of the United States, they were building their great nation upon the solid foundation of your Declaration of Independence. Independence! This winter, if the United States signs up to the Treaty of Copenhagen, her independence--and our freedom--will be gone forever. If Thomas Jefferson were alive today, he would be turning in his grave.

FYI: Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change IPCC (mentioned in keynote address)

Why we should be skeptical of the IPCC and it's reports: Economic Formulas in IPCC Report Criticized for Overstating Emissions

Excerpt from Heartland article about IPCC:
The United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the organization established to evaluate the effects of human activity on climate change--and hence provides the scientific rationales for UN actions on the issue.
Unfortunately, the assumptions it uses overstate potential manmade global warming by a large measure.

FYI: Treaty of Copenhagen

Why the USA should not jump on the Treaty of Copenhagen bandwagon.

Excerpt from Heritage Foundation article re: Treaty of Copenhagen:
The Obama Administration and its environmental team will be firmly in place for the next major global warming meeting in Copenhagen in December 2009. But the economic realities of global warming measures will also be in place, as will the lessons from Europe as that continent tries to back away from a prohibitively expensive policy. The last thing the American people need is for its government to embrace a European-style global warming policy just as Europe is abandoning it.

DID YOU HEAR THAT PREZ BO!!!!

In this video, Lord Christopher Monckton gives an interview on global warming crisis.

...WARNING...WARNING...
WARNING...

...FOUL LANGUAGE ALERT...

...REMOVE THE KIDS FROM EARSHOT...

It is probably in poor taste to follow Lord Monckton's eloquent keynote address with a video of George Carlin, but here goes...

For the lighter-side of my "Earth Day" post, I have included the following video. It contains mucho foul language, but what else would you expect from George Carlin? What you would not expect were his views on Global Warming. I couldn't agree more.

I don't pretend to be an expert on the environment and I believe that climate change is cyclical and real, but not man-made. I believe we should be good stewards of our earth and respect the wonderful place God has given us to live. But I also believe that what we are being told about the global warming "crisis" must be challenged. The government and big corporations are so invested into it that they have to keep the momentum going for their own sakes. What's at stake is power and money and they're using the environment and scare tactics to get them.

People like Al Gore should have to prove what they're selling...their "so-called" scientific consensus. Consensus is not "real" science. Unfortunately, they never put themselves in a position to debate their case with scientists who disagree with them on global warming. The biggest shame is that the liberal, drive-by media lets them get away with it. And we're the dupes who get sold this bill of goods and have to pay for it.

The "audacity" of Al Gore and his minions to try to convince us that human beings are capable of destroying the billions-year-old earth with our "carbon footprint" is amazing. They want us to believe that we can possibly undo the magnificence of the earth that our God has created. The "global warming/climate change/environmental CRISIS has become their "religion"; their "god". We are expected to kneel at it's altar and submit.

Let's remember what Lord Monckton said in his keynote address: "There was no climate crisis. There is no climate crisis. There will be no climate crisis. "Global warming" is not a global crisis. It is a global scientific fraud."

I am recommending a novel by Michael Crichton called State of Fear. It's a good story, but it also brings to light information on the global warming crisis fraud. State of Fear is fiction, but is based on facts and Mr. Crichton has numerous references listed in the book. (Michael Crichton passed away in 2008, was a medical doctor and has authored many good novels including The Andromeda Strain and Jurassic Park . He was also the creater of the TV show ER.)

Enjoy Earth Day. Take a leisurely walk, relax and revel in the beauty of God's gift to us...just don't cut any trees down along the way.
